Here Are 3 Things I’m Doing while the MLB Season is Suspended
As all of you probably well know, The MLB season has been suspended indefinitely. There hasn’t been much by way of predictions for when the season may start, and the situation is definitely fluid. So, in short, we just don’t know when. The most important thing we can do right now is be safe and do our part to squash this thing.
That said, I’m working out (in quarantine) and trying to stay in shape as best I can for a quickly resuming system. One day at a time. Fortunately, I’m a huge believer in silver linings! Just because we’re not able to play ball in stadiums, doesn’t mean we can’t create awesome baseball content that wouldn’t get made otherwise!
In that spirit, I have a few projects currently to get some new stuff out there:
- I’ve begun a 1 on 1 discussion series on Instagram Live! I go live for an hour every few days. I choose someone in the comments to have a short conversation about pitching and the game of baseball in general. Have questions that you’d love to have answered? Make sure you’re following my Instagram @trevmay65 so you don’t miss a show!
- I’ve begun working on a “Workout from home” series for the Trevor May Baseball YouTube channel that will be live streamed on Twitch, then be rewatchable on the channel. The “5 Things you can do from home to become a better pitcher!” video is already up and can be viewed at any time.
- In order to keep sharp, I’m thinking about starting a Trevor’s Breakdowns series (again on the Trevor May Baseball YouTube) of my big moments in the last couple years. I’ll discuss the game plan, mindset, and mechanical analysis as we work through events, moment by moment!
